Mil, a skilled designer with architectural training and a background in commercial construction, adds a unique design perspective and a keen eye for detail. Matthew Lozano Clough
President & Co-Founder
Matthew grew up on the Sunshine Coast, BC. He raced mountain bikes for 10 years, starting at age 12 with cross country and then moving to Enduro. His passion for building took shape early, crafting many sheds and bike jumps on his parents property. During high school, Matthew worked summers with his father - working on reno’s and new homes, before eventually apprenticing under him.
After earning his Red Seal in Carpentry in 2019, Matthew advanced through the ranks at a reputable custom home building company, taking on roles as a foreman and site supervisor. He oversaw multi-year builds across the Sunshine Coast and West Vancouver, gaining invaluable experience in large-scale, high-end home construction. Matthew learned to run a proficient site with the focus on safety, quality, and a positive work environment.
With a clear vision of the experience he wanted to provide for his clients, Matthew founded Cloz Construction in 2025 alongside his wife, Mildred Lozano Clough. Together, they are dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring that every home they build reflects the highest standards of quality and design.

Mil is a skilled designer with an interior design diploma, an associate certificate in construction management and a background in architecture. With 10 years of experience in high rise construction, Mil brings a wealth of expertise in design, project management, and estimating.
